 Coghlan Lake is 7 miles long and 3/4 miles wide and is located 60 air miles north of Whitehorse. It has the clearest water in the Yukon. Your lure may be visible as much as 40' below the surface. There are many shoals and islands throughout the lake. Coghlan Lake produces lake trout and northern pike up to 30 lbs. and arctic grayling up to 4 lbs. In addition burbot up to 15 lbs. and whitefish to 12 lbs. have been caught by our guests. A medium weight spinning rod is best for the trout and pike while you will want to bring a mini-spin or fly outfit for the grayling.
Coghlan Lake Lodge is a three bedroom house in the wilderness. The downstairs is log with a rustic living room area plus dining and kitchen areas. The frame upper floor has the three bedrooms and an indoor bathroom. Enjoy comfortable living in a fantastic setting.
The lodge is most comfortable with six people or three couples as there are three bedrooms with two beds each, but it is possible to sleep three couples plus up to six children.

Camp Attendant
The lodge comes with a caretaker-handyman who lives in a separate cabin nearby to ensure you of a trouble free vacation. His main duty is to do everything he can to make your trip as enjoyable as possible WITHOUT interfering with your party's freedom to enjoy the wilderness at your own pace. He will look after the electrical, propane, water and toilet systems; operate the tractor, keep the boats clean and gassed, etc. He will also act as a temporary guide if needed to orient newcomers to the lake and fishing methods.
